This is a beautifully glossy Scheurich vase from the 'Wien' or Vienna series with a striking red band of glaze against a rich brown base. A fantastic shape comprising a bulbous body, ringed neck and round handle. This one has a very small glazing defect on the red band but in excellent condition for its age.
